WINTER does not penetrate where the artful Gulf Stream has embraced Sea Island Sanctuary, lending the tropic delight you thought to find only a days' journey further South in Florida. Yet 820 miles by motor from New York, 26 miles from the Coastal Highway to Florida you find quaint Port Royal, oldest city in the U. S. and Cat Island is but fifteen minutes sail from there. Then enchantment of another world awaits. Lazy hours under a balmy sky. Jungle trails, festooned lagoons, palm fringed vistas where wild game and wild fowl in their habitat greet you unafraid. Crisp evenings beckon to crackling log fires in the cozy two-room guest cabins. Restful informality prevails. During our winter season nudism is optional. Many guests inexperienced in free physical culture find that this lack of compulsion makes the initiation much easier. Over three hundred acres, however, are restricted for nudist activities.
